RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE GAME
For Twenty20 overs

TWENTY20 POWER CRICKET
(20 overs) :: |
|
1. |
The game is
called ‘Twenty 20 (20) Cricket’ (Power Cricket). |

|
|
2. |
The game is
played for 20 overs Each |
| |
|
|
3. |
The circle rule of the
game will be of 10 overs (First 5 starting overs and last 5 ending
overs). To make it more clear the 'Circle Overs' will be from 1st
over to 5th over (1 to 5) and 16th over to 20th over (16 to 20) |

|
|
4. |
In the 'Circle Overs, Only two
(2) fielders are allowed out side the 'Ring' and in the 'Ring' two
(2) fielders are compulsory in ;Catching Position'. |
| |
|
|
5. |
After completion of 'Circle
Overs' only five (5) fielders are allowed outside the 'Ring' and
there will be no restriction on 'Catching Position' |
| |
|
|
6. |
The time limit of the first
bowling side must complete the twenty overs in 1 hour and 20
minutes. If the bowling side does not complete the twenty overs
within stipulated time, the bowling side will be face penalty. The
penalty will be a under: |

|
| |
|
“The bowling
team will have to bowl full quota overs |
|
i.e. 20 overs.
But at the time of batting, they will play |
|
only those
number of overs which they had bowled in |
|
1 hour and 20
minutes at the time of bowling.” |
|
| |
|
|
7. |
The over limit of the individual bowler will be 4
overs each in each. |
| |
|
|
8. |
One Bouncer per over is allowed. |
| |
|
|
9. |
Please note, there will be no
;Drinks Interval' During each Innings. |
| |
|
|
10. |
Ten (10) minutes break after complete first inning
of 20 overs |
| |
|
|
11. |
Except these, other rules & regulations and playing
conditions of one day international cricket shall remain in force.
|
| |
|
|
The approved
Twenty20 Cricket matches/series/tournament should be
played on ‘Turf’ wicket with ‘White Ball/Orange Colour Ball’ and ‘Coloured Kits’ with
their unit’s name & logo, player’s name & number. The teams will
follow other international cricket terms & playing conditions.
Black site screens are must.

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE GAME
For Forty (20+ 20) Overs
:: TWENTY20 INNINGS CRICKET 40 overs (20+20) Total
game of 80 overs ::

1. |
The game is
called ‘Twenty 20 Inning Cricket’ (Power Cricket). |

|
|
2. |
The game is
played for 40 overs (20+20) each inning. It is a 2 innings game.
Total game of 80 overs. |
| |
|
|
3. |
The circle rule of the
game will be of 10 overs (First 5 starting overs and last 5 ending
overs). To make it more clear the ‘Circle Overs’ will be from 1st
over to 5th over (1 to 5) and 16th over to 20th over (16 to 20) in
each inning. |

10. |
Please note, that the Ball will be changed after
every inning of twenty overs. Every team will complete its 40 overs
(20+20) as per rules and regulations. |

11. |
In case the match is not completed due to rain or
any other un-avoidable reasons, the decision of the match will be on
the base of First inning. |
| |
|
|
12. |
In case the match is not played due to rain or any
other unavoidable reasons, the winner of the match will be decided
on the toss |
| |
|
|
13. |
Except these, other rules & regulations and playing
conditions of international cricket, shall remain in force. |
